PrideConnect is committed to providing a safe environment for every user. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) of any kind. This document explains how we detect, prevent, report, and respond to safety issues on our platform.
Any content depicting or facilitating child sexual abuse is permanently banned. Detected content is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) in the United States and to relevant national authorities in other jurisdictions. The associated account is permanently banned and the device fingerprint blocked from future signups.
PrideConnect is exclusively for adults aged 18 and older. We enforce the age requirement in three layers: a date-of-birth attestation at signup, a server-side validation (date_of_birth <= today − 18 years) that rejects underage signups, and a mandatory 18+ declaration in our Terms & Conditions checkbox. Accounts found to belong to minors are deleted immediately upon detection and the device fingerprint blocked.
Every photo uploaded to PrideConnect is scanned at upload time using Cloudflare's CSAM Scanning Tool and Project Arachnid Shield (operated by the Canadian Centre for Child Protection). Both are hash-based detectors that identify previously catalogued child sexual abuse material. On a hash match:

We acknowledge reports within 24 hours and remove confirmed CSAE within 1 hour of confirmation.
PrideConnect prohibits the publication of any non-consensual intimate visual depiction, including authentic intimate imagery shared without the depicted person's consent and AI-generated or digitally altered intimate depictions (deepfakes) of any identifiable individual.
If intimate imagery of you (authentic or AI-generated) has been shared without your consent, report it via:
A valid takedown notice must include: (a) your physical or electronic signature (or that of an authorized representative), (b) identification of the specific intimate visual depiction, (c) sufficient information for us to locate the depiction on the platform, (d) a brief good-faith statement that the depiction was shared without consent, and (e) sufficient contact information.
We remove confirmed NCII within 24 hours of report (stricter than the 48-hour federal floor) and make reasonable efforts to remove all known identical copies. Compliance: U.S. Take It Down Act (Pub. L. 119-12, May 19 2025; platform-action deadline May 19 2026), UK Online Safety Act 2023, Australia Online Safety Act 2021, and Germany Network Enforcement Act (NetzDG). We log every takedown action with reviewer ID, timestamp, and decision rationale to demonstrate good-faith FTC compliance.

If your content was removed or your account was actioned and you believe this was in error, you may appeal within 7 days via Settings → Safety & Help Center → Appeal a Moderation Decision. A human reviewer (not the original moderator) will re-review and respond within 7 days. Required by EU Digital Services Act Article 20 and UK Ofcom guidance.
PrideConnect responds to lawful, properly served legal process in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction. We preserve user data subject to legal-hold orders. We notify affected users when permitted by law. Law enforcement requests should be sent to legal@prideconnect.lgbt.
PrideConnect is a platform for LGBTQ+ adults. The following content is explicitly allowed on PrideConnect — content classifiers that flag this material as inappropriate are calibrated incorrectly and will not result in removal:
All LGBTQ+-flagged content is queued for human review — never auto-removed by classifier hit alone.
If and when PrideConnect introduces features that allow users to upload or generate synthetically generated information (SGI) — including AI-generated images, video, audio, or text — we will require user declaration of synthetic origin at upload time and will visibly label such content with a notice indicating its synthetic nature. We will deploy reasonable technical measures to verify these declarations, in compliance with India's Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Amendment Rules 2026 (notified February 10 2026, effective February 20 2026) and equivalent provisions of the EU Digital Services Act and U.S. state-level deepfake disclosure laws.
Non-consensual AI-generated intimate depictions (deepfakes) are addressed under § 5 above and removed within 24 hours of valid notice, regardless of platform-feature SGI obligations.
